ABOUT THE PROJECT
बिसाऊ शेखावाटी की खूबसूरती का एक अलग ही आयाम है।
कभी यह शेखावाटी का सिरमौर था — चाहे वह वरदा पत्रिका हो, बिसाऊ दिग्दर्शन हो, या राजस्थान साहित्य समिति की स्थापना।
यहाँ की मूक रामलीला न केवल क्षेत्र में, बल्कि पूरे देश में प्रसिद्ध है। हमारी हवेलियाँ इतनी खूबसूरती से बनाई गई हैं कि आज भी महल से कम नहीं लगतीं।
लेकिन धीरे-धीरे ऐसा लग रहा है कि बिसाऊ अपने आप को पीछे छोड़ता जा रहा है। अब वह गींदड़ नहीं है, न ही बिसाऊ की चौकड़ी, न ही शादी-ब्याह के गीत।
हमारा प्रयास इन्हें वापस संजोना है। वापस उन्हीं हवेलियों में रंग भरना, दरवाजे पर बैठकर चाय पीना और बतियाना — और फिर वही धमाल और चौकड़ी गाते हुए निकलना।

THE URGENCY
The closing window is not a metaphor—it is structural. Keeping it open is urgent. Without action in the next few years, artisan lineages will disappear, traditional care systems will erode, and irreplaceable fresco heritage will pass the point of no return.
Bissau is not losing buildings, crafts or songs separately.
It is losing one worldview simultaneously,
one ecosystem of 4 registers, stone, thread, sound & water.

Shekhawati has always embraced a tradition of contributing to society, whether it involves ensuring access to water in every part of the town, providing jobs during harsh famines through Havelis and Bhittichitras, or constructing wells and taps.
Today's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reflects this innate social instinct of giving back to the community. Through this project, we aim to reconnect with the roots from which we originated.
With this project, we are shifting focus from preservation only to a holistic approach using the economic model of Shekhawati to harness our knowledge systems to revitalise an ecosystem that offers abundant livelihood opportunities. This approach transforms it into a dynamic living archive in which everyone can engage and contribute.
